Award:
"It is a great honour for me to be connected with my old college in this way
and I thank them for nominating me. My time at Wirral Metropolitan College
was invaluable and really set me up for my future career. It acted as a catalyst
by testing, inspiring and teaching me at the same time. My college encouraged
me to always keep my mind open to different creative possibilities by introducing
me to different ways of seeing and doing. My tutors Joe, Ken and Pete were
great. They taught me to see the heroism in everyday life. Things that were
immediately around me became viable subjects for Art."
